Blah Blah Blogging. I have resisted until now, because I didn't know what to write and didn't really want to spend the time. But now I am starting on a new path with Zumba, so it seemed like a good idea to chronicle my adventures. I am also a bellydancer and event producer/ volunteer/attendee/ participant. I love dance and dance festivals. I love live music outdoors. I think that experiences and relationships are more important than stuff. Ok, enough, time to shut up and dance.

Danced my ass off today. Also my feet, knees, butt, hips, elbows, shoulders, neck and spine. But I am proud to say that at age 50 I am able to keep up with other Zumbanistas half my age. And that hit of endorphin at 2 and a half hours was totally worth it. The ladies I met today were so welcoming and warm, what a great group to belong to. I promised I would write more about the BellyDancer of the Universe Competition. I received my videos via email today, so it is a good day to post about that particular adventure.

So, here it is. My blog. I have been working up to this, writing movie reviews and articles, a few essays. But this one is supposed to be about ME and my Zumba adventures. Here I go, reinventing my life once again. But ya gotta do it, every few years, like Madonna, or it becomes stale and routine. The only routine I want to do is a dance routine. And even then, I like improv better than choreography. I guess that's my biggest obstacle right now, is memorizing the Zumba- assigned choreographie...
